Rooms & Suites

After an eventful day filled with excitement galore, you want to lie down in your cushy bed; however, the establishment’s effort to make your stay memorable extends there as well. We strongly advocate that the room is not “just” a place to sleep in. For the nature lovers, a sight of the Everest and other Himalayan ranges accessible from every room, is complimentary of the hotel.Every sunrise looks unique and every sunset conspires to arrest the viewer with its allure. And like a humble being, the viewer is left with no guards whatsoever but to bow to her majesty.

Either stay in bed or in the balcony, the splendor is unrestricted. All the rooms have been designed to address a perfect marriage between tradition and modernity. The rooms don’t just offer spectacular scenic view but are also built with all the modern facilities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Every room is unique and has a distinct character of its own.

  • I came to stay at the Country Villa by chance. It is one of the few hotels in Nagarkot that are open in the wake of the earthquakes that hit Nepal on April 25 and May 12 this year. It was a fortunate choice. The hotel has sustained almost no damage, although many other hotels, private houses, schools an businesses in the area were flattened by the quakes. This testifies to the quality of its construction. I was in Nagarkot for the opening of temporary school buildings for which I had paid the cost of the construction materials. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed with lashings of hot water and even a bath tub. Each room has a minibar, flat-screen TV and complimentary bottles of mineral water. The rooms are well furnished and decorated with prints of art works by local artists. Each room has a Himalayan view, as does the terrace, restaurant and public areas. It costs a little more than some of the other hotels in the vicinity, but I feel this is justified by the quality of the experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Country Villa to the more discerning traveller who is seeking a comfortable place to stay.

  • My wife and I got up one morning at sunrise and the valley below was filled with fog which from our high vantage looked like the top of clouds you see in a plane. Certain hilltops looked like islands in a white fluffy sea. The scene constantly changed as fissures would suddenly open and the fog would look like waterfalls spilling into the fissure. We must of snapped a hundred photos that morning.
